Suntory Special Reserve is a blend of single malts from Yamazaki and Hakushu. Rich and fruity, this is hard to find outside of Japan.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE:
The Nose begins with flavors of oranges and apples, followed by dried fruits such as apricots and peaches. Next, a distinct grain note comes to the fore, followed by a touch of caramel. This is a clean Nose, with all flavors very well balanced.
TASTE:
The Taste is medium-bodied and just a bit spicy. The orange and caramel flavors are back, together with a light grassy note.
FINISH:
The Finish is of medium length and a bit oaky. Orange flavors last to the very end.
