Hibiki 17 Year Old Kacho Fugetsu is a Limited Edition Hibiki Bottle released in 2016 in very small numbers (less than 1000). The theme of this particular bottle is “Kacho Fugetsu” – a design that embodies the beauty of Japanese nature. The sweet floral aroma of the hand-selected matured malts combine with a natural wood essence to create a truly distinctive whisky, with a full-bodied taste. The 24 facets of the bottle symbolize the ancient tradition of “Sekki” – the age-old Japanese lunar calendar. Kacho Fugetsu is the Japanese Kanji for Flowers, Birds, Breeze, and Lunar phases.
The Hibiki 17 Year Old Kacho Fugetsu is beautifully decorated with chrysanthemum, which is the national flower of Japan and cranes. All symbols are in the traditional Maki-e patterns – symbolising felicitations, wishing happiness and the best of fortunes. This bottle is one for the collector or for special occasions.
Produced only in 600 bottles, this bottling is themed after Kacho Fugetsu - Japanese Kanji for flowers, birds, breeze, and moon. This beatifully designed, hand-painted bottle accurately embodies the beauty of Japanese nature.
